Caroline and Abel grew up knowing each other, but it wasn’t until high school that their relationship turned into something more. Abel asked Caroline to junior prom, and from that point on, they have been inseparable. After graduating, they both moved to Raleigh, where Caroline attended Meredith College and Abel attended NC State University, continuing to grow together through college. From early on, Caroline and Abel shared the belief that dating was meant to be intentional. They trusted that God would lead them to the right person in His timing, and when they found each other, it felt clear they were meant to walk life together. In August of 2025, Abel asked Caroline to marry him, and they are excited to see what the future holds as they begin this next chapter together.
