Semi-formal/cocktail attire. Our color scheme is summer/garden party/wild flowers. We want to see you in all of your fun colors and floral prints! For you dress-wearers, we are envisioning maxi or midi length dresses, or full length jumpsuits. The bridesmaids will be wearing yellow, orange, and pink solid color chiffon dresses. Those colors are not off limits, but please consider patterns and what not to set yourself apart! For you suit-and-pant wearers, we want nice slacks, a fun print button up (short or long sleeve), and if you're feeling fancy, go for the suit jacket! For most of the day, the music will be family friendly! But just like TV after 9 PM, we have given our DJ permission to play music geared toward a more “adult audience”. If explicit music is something you know you will not enjoy, let the announcement from the DJ be your cue to start saying your goodbyes for the evening. Otherwise, be prepared to hear some less-than-savory language and see our friends dropping it low on the dance floor!
While we can’t predict rain or shine, here IS what we can guess (assuming sunshine); Late June in Minnesota can get pretty warm and sunny, and sometimes humid. Temps are typically in the high 70°s to low 80°s… PLEASE STAY HYDRATED! The ceremony will be outdoors and about 45 minutes long. We’ll provide ceremony programs you can use as fans, but please remember your SPF and antiperspirant! Feel free to bring a nice sun hat if that compliments your outfit :) so long as it doesn’t block the view of the person behind you.

Yes! And it's free! Woohoo! (Also a benefit if you choose to drive there and then are unable to drive yourself home, they allow you to leave your car overnight and won't tow your car! Please drive responsibly.)
We will not be providing transportation. You will be responsible for driving yourself, finding a carpool, or booking an Uber/Lyft. Our venue is close to the city, and most of the hotels are less than 15 minutes from the venue, so rideshares should be readily available and relatively inexpensive! Please let us know if you need assistance with figuring out your ride.
We are registered here on Zola, and we have a registry at Target! You can shop both right here on our website under the "Registry" tab :) There are also a couple of random items from other stores (such as Amazon and Ulta). If you purchase an item like that, please come back to the registry and manually mark that item as purchased. This will ensure people don’t buy duplicates of the same gift!
THIS IS AN UNPLUGGED CEREMONY! We will be hiring a professional photographer to take all of the important shots with their fancy expensive equipment -- please allow them to do that without them catching your iPhone out in the aisle.
Yes... and also no. We will be covering 2 kegs, and when they're gone, they're gone! On top of that, we will have an open bar until we hit our Dollar Limit. Once the limit is hit, it'll be fully a cash bar (other than the two kegs, which will be free until they're gone). We will be offering beer, wine, cocktails, soda, coffee, and limited "mocktails".
We really wish, y'all... No one more than us understands the value of saving a buck and not wanting to wait in a line! However, we do not want to be fined for breaking our contract (or the law), and we really want to make sure our venue doesn't risk losing their liquor license! Please leave your extra booze at home or in your hotel.
Though we adore your children, this will be a child-free event! With the exception of first cousins. We have to be selective due to capacity limitations. Please take no offence and consider this an opportunity for a romantic date night away from the kids! If you are concerned about the financial implications of childcare, please choose childcare in lieu of a wedding gift; your presence will be your present to us.
We are limiting plus-ones to serious, long-term partners only. You will know if your significant other is invited if their name also appears on your invite. We won't have any open-ended plus ones.
