Hotel
Okay! We have a link for the hotel block! The rate should be $199 per night, with an amenity fee and taxes. The rate is only for Saturday and Sunday nights - we are working on having it extended to Friday since many folks have expressed they plan to arrive on Friday! If you have any issues with the link or the rate quoted, please let us know.
Hotel
We are still finalizing our Hotel Block with the Darcy. We will email everyone when we have our discount codes/links for our group rate. The Darcy is a truly beautiful hotel and is around the corner from the Kimpton Banneker and next door to the Holiday Inn.
Hotel
We don't have a hotel block at the Holiday Inn, but they are next to the Darcy and block from the Kimpton. We wanted to highlight this option if you're looking to stay close by, but want a more affordable option.
Travel Note
Our wedding and hotels are in downtown DC. Due to this location parking is limited and can be expensive. We ask you to consider taking public transportation to the city if it is an option. If you are driving to the city and parking at your hotel, we recommend using ride shares or public transportation around the city. There is VERY LIMITED parking at our venue. Please do not plan on driving to the ceremony. If you do plan on driving, be aware there is only street parking available or you can pre-book a parking spot with a service like SpotHero. If you are driving, be prepared to walk a few blocks to the venue, there is space for drop offs in front of the venue.
Train
We highly recommend booking a train ticket to DC and book early for best savings! Train is a great way to travel on the eastern seaboard. Onward travel to your hotel is available by Metro - you can even pay with an app on your phone!
Flight
All three DC area airports are connected to the city by rail (DCA and IAD by Metro, BWI by Marc or Amtrak)
Travel Note
Public Transportation in DC is fantastic! You can pay with your cellphone directly from your Apple Wallet or from the WMATA App. Our venue is less than a block from the Shaw-Howard Univ. Metro Station. Public transportation is the best way to explore DC. It is also highly walkable even in the winter!
