The wedding attire is Cocktail/Formal. Keep in mind that it will be outdoors, and the weather will be warm. You’ll also be getting on and off river boats, so dress in whatever makes you feel best. (scrubs not welcome) As for the rest of your trip, Egypt is generally relaxed when it comes to modest dressing, but it’s a good idea to bring a scarf or a loose layer in case you visit any Islamic sites.

How long should I stay?

If you can, we recommend staying for at least a week to get the most out of your trip. Arranging tours and activities through a tour guide is key!

Visa Requirements

Answer

Non- Egyptians require a tourist visa to visit Egypt. Most nationalities can obtain a tourist visa on arrival for 25 USD, and only accept CASH. You can also get visas online prior to arrival using this link - visa2egypt.gov.eg

Transportation

Answer

Transport for all wedding events is taken care of. For the rest of your stay, you can ask your hotel to arrange transportation, or reach out to Mazen for private chauffeurs. If you need airport transport to your hotel, Mazen can also arrange this—just let him know in advance. For Taxis, Uber is the easiest and most affordable way to get around.

A local SIM card is useful for booking Ubers and staying connected. You can purchase one at the airport, ask your hotel to arrange one, or use an eSIM app like Airalo for easy data access.
