FAQs

Please review the information below. If you have any additional questions please reach out to Abdul or Naomi.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP's are due January 31st, 2026. We kindly ask you respond by this date , as our venue requires a final head count. Only those listed on the RSVP are invited. We’ve curated our guest list with intention and appreciate your understanding. If your decision to attend changes at any time , please be courteous and notify Abdul or Naomi

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Gifts are always appreciated. As we start this new chapter in our lives, we kindly ask for gifts in the form of contributions toward our future, rather than physical items. A card box and virtual payment platforms (Cash App, Apple Pay, etc.) will also be available at the wedding for your convenience.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is a joyful celebration, and we’d love for everyone to look their best! The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire—please no t-shirts or jeans. Be advised our venue is in an outdoor grass area. Our reception will be held in a covered space. Traditional Asoebi is encouraged.

Question

What forms of transportation are available?

Answer

Rideshare services such as Lyft and Uber are readily available in the area. However, we recommend renting a car during your stay, especially if you plan to stay for multiple days, as it can be a more cost-effective and convenient option. Car rentals are available at Tampa International Airport through a variety of providers. Our wedding venue allows overnight parking for guests who plan to consume alcohol. We encourage everyone to drink responsibly and get home safely. If you choose to leave your car overnight, please ensure it is picked up by 11:00 AM the following morning.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at the Hyatt Wesley Chapel with discounted rates, conveniently located near our wedding venue. If you plan to extend your stay to explore and enjoy the Tampa area, we recommend booking a hotel near the airport or near downtown Tampa. For Airbnbs, feel free to reach out to Abdul or Naomi for suggestions on the best neighborhoods to stay in.
