Maid of Honor
"My favorite memory with Abby is when we would play school when we were little. Kelly McKinley school of hard knocks: student of one - Abby McKinley. Extra homework baby!"

"As John’s best man and best friend since elementary school, the number of memories we’ve formed are endless and span from our mutual hatred for St. Paul’s daycare as kids throughout medical school, to this day. Some of our best include our late night high school sleepovers (shoutout to Andrea’s Zebra Cakes and pancakes) fishing the next mornings with his parents (“We got doughnuts, Mike!”), Pitt beating Penn St, each of our 21st birthdays, and teaching him the game of golf, even though that one is still a work in progress. I look forward to making a lifetimes worth of memories with him as we embark in our careers as physicians and start our own families. I can only hope that our kids will share even a similar level of friendship that we have built in the future. Cheers to you, John and Abby! Thank you for having me as part of your special day!"

"I couldn’t be happier to have gained another sister in Abby when I married her brother in 2020! I’ve loved getting to know Abby over the last 8 years during holidays, Pitt visits, family gatherings, and more! But my favorite time in our relationship by far has been this past year. We have grown so close, especially throughout Abby’s wedding planning journey, and I’m so grateful for the special bond we’ve formed. I can’t wait to stand by her side in June!"

"I've gotten to know John very well over the last few years and it has been awesome. It really is a blessing to have a brother-in-law who lives, eats, sleeps and breathes PITT football just as much as I do. We have had a lot of fantastic moments attending those games together... witnessing Pitt clinch the Coastal, going to the Peach Bowl and more recently, watch PITT beat WVU. I look forward to many more football games, golf outings and other shenanigans in the future. Cheers to an awesome dude and can't wait to celebrate June 3rd!"

"I don’t remember ever meeting Abby, but that’s only because she’s always been a part of my life (as evidenced by our picture <3)! How does one capture a lifelong friend in a singular memory? I’ve decided I can’t, so instead I will share a few snippets across space and time. When we were little we used to play Polly Pockets underneath her parent’s tree in the front yard (I think I liked Polly Pockets more than Abby because they were her toys). In middle school, we sat next to each other on the field trip to Washington D.C. and listened to angsty music and choreographed dances. Senior year (and junior year) Abby helped me find prom dates. In college, we partied at Pitt and Penn State. Post undergrad we rode a unicorn and donut down the Huron River. All this is to say how lucky I am that my life is full of memories with Abby who is the best of friends and I am so honored to join her and John on their wedding day!"

"My favorite memory with Abby and John is tied between our New Year's Eve Celebration at Mad River and the Pitt Vs. Clemson game we went to together. We had an all around awesome time at both!"

"I would say one of my favorite memories of us is meeting and running cross country together throughout High school. We’d always listen to ‘Send Me on my Way’ and ‘Party up’ before meets! Of course senior week is also a good memory of us at the beach learning to handle alcohol for the first time!"

“When I moved into the Chesterfield house, I had to grocery shop for myself for the first time. John helped me out and took me to Giant Eagle and showed me what he normally gets. We ended up buying a bunch of Hamburger Helper and pierogis. We also made it to the semi-finals in high school gym class badminton, which is the closest I’ve been to winning a sport.”

Being Johnny’s older sister, I have had 28 years stuffed full of amazing memories with him. Some of my favorites include coming back to my house really late with my best friend for a sleepover to find Mike Moran and Johnny waiting up for us to play Monopoly at 12 AM, all the times he had to fake smile for a picture with me and thought if he just showed his teeth it would pass as a real smile (let me tell you, it was hilariously awkward), airsoft wars in the yard, family cruises, karate class, and so much more. I am so incredibly grateful to have a younger brother who I can sincerely say was one of my best friends growing up. Then, one day, he brought home this beautiful girl named Abby for the family to meet and the first thing I remember thinking about her was that wow, she talks as much as my dad and I do! She fits right in! I later learned how wonderful of a person she is and how she seemed part of the family long before they ever got engaged. I am so incredibly happy for you both and can’t wait to celebrate your special day with you!

My favorite memories of John and Abby are playing games over the holidays with the family. I especially love getting super competitive at euchre with them! Looking forward to playing many more games together and partying it up on your big day!

One of my favorite memories to look back on are the many New Years Eve celebrations throughout high school. Playing rock band and Dance Dance Revolution and creating bucket lists as a friend group to look back on and laugh at years later!
