Intelligentsia Coffee Pasadena Coffeebar

Intelligentsia Coffee Pasadena Coffeebar

55 East Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena, CA 91105
, (626) 578-1270

We first met at an Intelligentsia across town. We weren't sure if it was the cold brew or love at first sight that had our hearts racing, but it will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Agnes restaurant & cheesery

Agnes restaurant & cheesery

40 West Green Street, Pasadena, CA 91105
, (626) 389-3839

We sampled the weekend brunch, but dinner looked just as good if not better. They market themselves as making the food your grandma used to make.

The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens

The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens

1151 Oxford Road, San Marino, CA 91108
, (626) 405-2100

If you like art, architecture, and gardens THIS IS FOR YOU! We spent hours wandering and could have spent hours more. Requires an advance ticket purchase, and once you're on the property you can stay as long as you like. 10 minute drive from the hotel, and note that parking fills up fast.

Griffith Observatory

Griffith Observatory

2800 East Observatory Road, Los Angeles, CA 90027
, (213) 473-0800

Great views of the city, including the Hollywood sign. Some of our favorite hiking trails, and nearby the Greek Theatre which is hosting the Goo Goo Dolls Friday night if you're so inclined.

Dodgers stadium

Dodgers stadium

1000 Vin Scully Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012

While the groom is a die hard Cardinals fan, you can't beat the iconic Dodgers stadium for catching a ballgame. Dodgers are playing the Padres all weekend.

Saso

Saso

37 South El Molino Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91101
, (626) 808-4976

We had a lovely dinner at this gem of a restaurant housed in the century-old Pasadena Playhouse. Basque-inspired dishes with great seafood, wine, and cocktails. Don't sleep on the coastal farm salad.

Salt & Straw

Salt & Straw

39 West Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena, CA 91105
, (626) 304-0303

One of the best ice cream shops you'll find on the west coast, and it won over the bride's heart for having some great dairy-free options as well. We won't judge you if you get 2 scoops.
