Formal invites to come - but feel free to text us that you have the date saved and plan to be there!
Yes! We will have catering, camp classics, and drinks available. However, BYOB is also encouraged simply because we can! We pretty much get to run this however we want - so if you ever have found yourselves wishing you could get behind the bar at a wedding this'll be a time to shine. Venue has trash/receptacle but please practice leave no trace when meandering out of the main party area! Feel free to bring other stuff that keeps camps lively but be mindful of any fire hazards.
Yes. There is a combination of modern plumbing facilities (i.e., real bathrooms) and porta-potties.
We expect that to be the case for most - so don't! No pressure, it's just what we'll be up to. There are lodging options for our non-camping guests. Please refer to the Basecamps page for some of the recommended lodging options. Though it'd help us out to know who may want to setup shop night of, above all else we want everyone safe/comfortable in their own diggs. Feel free to throw a tent in your trunk and whatever else you may need if you're not sure! We'll also have some spare tents/gear around if you end up having a time and want to crash even if you had something else booked.
The ceremony and most of our wedding reception and after-party will be outdoors. However, we do have a building and awnings if needed. People stopping by throughout the weekend will be able to find plenty of shaded areas to hang - though we will be a bit tight if we're all indoors at the same time the night of so please plan accordingly!
Who knows! But leaning towards camp-chic/festival-formal. Chris will be semi-dapper but also campsite capable, if that helps. Don't wear white, please. Hit us up if you have questions! Whatever you go with, may not be a bad idea to throw some extras in the car if the weather turns or you want to stray off the beaten paths!
Though a few out of staters may have them in tow, we're not entirely sure at the moment. Text us if it's make or break for you and we'll see what's up! In any event, probably wise not to have them on the property after hours. It's a campground for sure, not as refined as most wedding venues.
We'll have an asian fusion style buffet to accommodate most diets. Feel free to bring your own snacks, drinks and creature comforts as well!
It doesn't. No curfew!
Yes. Please don't use cell phones or cameras during the ceremony, but you can go nuts outside of that while still respecting others. No drones, please.
Please consider the elevation (Almost 8,000 ft). Sunscreen, hydrate, take it easy when needed, and be mindful of alcohol consumption. Also slow down at the Nebraska state lines if driving, according to Chris.
Yes, there is plenty of parking. Though we will all need to be strategic, so it is highly encouraged to carpool with friends if possible. If you are staying on-site, be sure not to block someone who is not.
Probably yes, Chef! Just shoot us the details. If you're interested in being the ringleader for something, have some sweet vibe accessories, or anything else - just ask!
