La Jolla Shores
La Jolla Shores Beach is a short drive north of Downtown La Jolla. It's a great beach and a solid spot for water activities. Book a kayak tour to explore the caves, snorkel with the leopard sharks, or take surf lessons.
La Jolla Cove
La Jolla Cove is a small, picturesque cove surrounded by La Jolla's sea cliffs. This area is perfect for a leisurely stroll with ocean views. You might even see some sea lions swimming about.
Torrey Pines State Reserve
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve is located on the cliffs above Torrey Pines State Beach. This 2,000-acre reserve is a hikers paradise with a series of well-kept trails that wind along the cliffs offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. If you're feeling adventurous, you can book a paragliding session at the Gliderport!
Mount Soledad
Mount Soledad is a prominent San Diego landmark. Sitting atop this mountain is a National Veterans Memorial. Open to the public, this little park boasts amazing views of all of La Jolla and the Pacific Ocean below. Very cool to check out if you get the chance.
