We met back in high school in our school's orchestra in 2015. We both play the same instrument which led to more interactions. At first, we became really good friends, but then, at the school's Homecoming game that year, we started to get closer. We got together and have stayed with each other through thick and thin, long distances across the US and other countries, as well as family loss. Will was born in Alaska, lived there fro about 8 years, then moved to Michigan. After his high school graduation, him and his family moved to Oregon where Will went to Willamette University. He started his Dual Degree program there. After three years, Will went to Washington University in St. Louis where he finished his Dual Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Physics. He now works as a Computer Technician at Micro Center. Abby was born in Michigan and lived there for almost 20 years! in 2018, Abby moved to Washington State to live with her Aunt and Uncle. From there, Abby went back to school and obtained her Associate's Degree at Columbia Basin College. Abby was then accepted into Corban University in Oregon. Abby graduated with a Bachelor's in Music. Abby now works as an Orchestra Teacher and Head Chess coach at Lift For Life Academy. She is also a part of a new orchestra in St. Louis. For Abby, she knew Will was the one when they moved from Oregon to Missouri. For Will, he knew Abby was the one when she volunteered to come and help out at water polo games. The next thing is the proposal! Will and Abby went on a date to the Missouri Botanical Gardens. They found this giant terrarium with a Jungle atmosphere where Will found a cute quiet corner by a waterfall and popped the question! It was a sweet intimate moment, perfect for the couple. In October 2025, we will be celebrating 10 years together and look forward to spending many more together!
