The sooner, the better! We kindly ask to RSVP by May 15th of 2025.
When attending a Gurdwara wedding, the dress code is generally modest, requiring guests to cover their heads with a scarf or handkerchief, wear loose-fitting clothing that covers most of the legs, and avoid revealing outfits with deep necklines or short skirts; it's also customary to remove shoes before entering the Gurdwara and be mindful of sitting comfortably on the floor. Suitable clothing options: Women: Salwar kameez (Punjabi suit), Anarkali suit, long skirt with a long top, floor-length dress with sleeves. Men: Kurtas with trousers, formal shirts with pants.
Head covering: Both men and women, regardless of religion, must cover their heads with a scarf or rumal (handkerchief). Modest attire: Opt for loose-fitting clothing that covers most of your legs and avoids revealing cuts or plunging necklines. Footwear: Remove shoes before entering the Gurdwara. Comfortable clothing: Choose clothes that allow for comfortable sitting on the floor. Please remember to put your phones on silent mode inside the Gurdwara. If there are any questions, or clarification needed, please ask us! :)
