In the Summer of 2022, we first crossed paths running/biking at Gray's Lake in Des Moines. After meeting again at the coffee line and Wednesday night Bible Study at Cottage Grove, we went on our first date and connected over our shared love of nature, international backgrounds, and common faith. Soon thereafter, Tutku moved back to Iowa City and we continued our relationship taking turns traveling to spend time with each other. Since that first date, our friendship has continued to grow over several hikes, pickleball matches, long walks/jogs, Wordles, home-cooked meals, game nights with friends, and time spent with each other's families. After countless drives to and from Des Moines and Iowa City, we are excited to live in the same place again as we get to start our next chapter together in Iowa City!
