The wedding will take place on Tuesday, August 4th 2026 on the Central Garden. The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm, with the reception to follow. More details will be shared closer to the date-stay tuned!

DO I NEED A PASSPORT?
Answer
Yes, all guests traveling to Cancun, MX will require a passport. If you do not have one at this time, it is recommended to obtain one as early as possible. If you do have one, please check the expiration. For more info: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE AVAILABLE FROM THE AIRPORT TO Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort?

Yes, this will be available for all guests who book their rooms directly through our travel Agent Ligia Landim. The travel fare to and from the airport in Cancun is included in your room payment. It is to our understanding that the transportation is not a private charter, however that can be arranged upon request at an additional cost. Please notify Ligia (travel agent) when booking your room if you wish to have private transportation or if you are ok with standard transportation (not private).

HOW CAN GUESTS BOOK THEIR ROOMS FOR THEIR STAY AT Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort?

Our travel agent, Ligia Landim with Liz Moore Destination Weddings, will be the point of contact for a room quote and for the booking process. Room preferences and the number of booked days/nights have been collected from all guests at this point in time. If any of the requested room information provided to us has changed, please advise so we can better accommodate to you and your stay. Just a friendly reminder to please book your stay through our wedding room block! We’ve reserved a special block of rooms at discounted rates to make things as easy and affordable as possible for our guests — plus, you’ll be right where all the fun is happening! Using our block also helps us keep everything organized and makes sure everyone’s nearby for the weekend events. The block is limited, so be sure to book soon before the rooms fill up!

DO THE GUESTS HAVE TO PAY THEIR BOOKING ALL UPFRONT OR IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABLE?

You don’t have to pay it all at once! If you book early you can take advantage of the interest free payment plan! Anytime you'd like to pay, click Credit Card Authorization Payment Link and pay what you'd like or pay at final payment date. Once you fill out the Room Request, Final balance is due by 3/15/2026. It is interest-free! A minimum non-refundable deposit of $100 per person is due no later than 2/15/2026 in order to secure your room and private roundtrip airport/resort/airport transportation. We are hoping our guests can meet us in Cancun anytime between 8/1/2026 - 8/6/2026. As far as departure and returning home, we ask that our guests stay a minimum of 3 nights.

DO ALL GUESTS HAVE TO STAY AT Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort IN ORDER TO ATTEND THE WEDDING ON July 5th, 2025?

If you need to make arrangements with a hotel nearby. A day pass of $100 plus will be available for purchase for guests staying off of the premises and will need to notify us in advance to make arrangements for them. Pricing for day passes vary, and there is no guarantee that Resort will have capacity to allow offsite guests. Please reach out to us for further information on that.

WILL THE RESORT AND TRANSPORTATION OFFERINGS SPEAK ENGLISH?

Yes all staff and accommodations will have English speaking drivers and hospitality.

WILL WE NEED MEXICO CURRENCY?
Answer
This is totally up to the guest. The Wedding is hosted in an All Inclusive Resort. This means all your Meals & Drinks (Alcoholic as well) are included in your Room Rate. Guests normally bring currency for Tipping, which is not mandatory, and can be done in Both Mexican Peso or USD. Your Travel Agent will provide you with a Tipping Tutorial a few weeks prior to travel. If you decide to do excursions the best way to pay for the extras is with a credit card.

IS Playa Mujeres/Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort SAFE?
Answer
Yes, but all guests are recommended to stay on the resort property for the duration of the wedding stay, excluding any planned group excursions. The area is safe to travel. If there are any specific questions or concerns please reach out to Ligia for assistance.

CAN I BOOK ON MY OWN: DIRECT OR THRU THIRD PARTY?

We ask that all Guest book through the Room Block. We have worked with the Resort to hold enough rooms to accommodate all our guest choices. By booking within our Room Block you will help us meet the percentage required to adhere to our Wedding Contract and this will also allow you to participate in all our wedding events planned for the week. In Addition, you will have the convenience of utilizing our Group Coordinator and Hospitality Desk for all service request along with being placed in nearby rooms. Not to mention, The World Class Spa, all guests booked through the Room block will receive 20% discount per person on spa services ; valid once per person, per stay and not combinable with any spa promotions or coupons
