Nothing in this life would have ever prepared us for the random day we met and the hilarious weeks that followed. We were both spending our COVID era working at Target and both had to hide away in the break room to escape another wave of orders, I turned the corner and saw that my hiding spot was overtaken by the most adorable and stunning woman. There she was stuffing her face with hotdogs and watching her favorite anime, and I wish I took a picture of that moment. Instead, I poked at her with some jokes and was met with the most ferocious barrage of insults in return. That was the beginning of our Target rivalry filled with pranks and daily jokes. After the tides had set, we both realized so many things aligned and the void in my heart cleared. Abby was everything that I had dreamed of and even more of what I loved. She truly filled my heart, my perspectives, and my world with something new and filled it with so much happiness.

From day one, our love and faith in God have held us together, especially when the nuances of adulthood tried to knock us down. Between responsibilities, work, bills, and questioning what’s for dinner every night😅, we leaned on prayer and each other to survive and thrive. Because of this, our bond throughout 2024 was stronger than ever. We turned every obstacle into an opportunity through unwavering teamwork and support for one another. So, it was on an expected, yet unexpected evening with family at the end of the year when my partner in crime confessed there was no one else he'd rather continue this adventure with and gave the most heartfelt proposal for my hand in marriage. Throughout all the chaos, our love kept growing, proving that faith, laughter, and a little bit of stubbornness go a long way. I'm happy we reached this point together and am even more excited for the promise of a fulfilling future with my best friend.
