Our Story
Abby and Ryan first met each other last Summer through their sisters setting them up. After Abby contemplated it for a few weeks, she agreed to let Ryan have her number. They started texting and learned over time of their shared love for cats, youth ministry, faith, cooking and more. They met up for their First Date on 8/12 for Coffee at Isaac's Downtown in Salem and a walk in Riverfront park. They continued to meet up for a few more dates after that and made their relationship official 8/28.
Since then, they've gone on many fun dates and adventures together- a Sibling trip to Sunriver, movie nights, trying new restaurants, coffee dates, bike rides, and more. In November they confirmed that they both had grown to love each other and the blessing of God's Guidance in their relationship. After a talk in January, they both agreed on pursuing the next steps of Marriage. Ryan then planned the sweetest proposal and popped the big question on 3/11/23. As they say, the Rest is History!
