Jolley Trolley

The Trolley will shuttle guests from the Staybridge to the St. Pete Pier at 5:30p. The Trolley will also return guests to the Staybridge at the end of the Reception. If you plan to park here and ride the Trolley there is street parking on MLK St. right near the hotel. Special pick-up requests downtown are available- please contact Abby for arrangements.

Parking/Venue Access Information

There are three ways you will be able to get to the Pier on wedding day!! We do not recommend attempting to park in the Pier parking lot. It is usually very busy or full on weekends. OPTION 1: TROLLEY CHARTER PROVIDED Our Jolly Trolley charter will shuttle from the Staybridge to the Pier before the wedding and back to the Staybridge after the wedding. The Trolley will transport guests from the Staybridge Suites at 5:30p. OPTION 2: Uber Uber/Lyft to the Pier. Or, Tampa Bay Cab is an option: 813-516-2972 - Rene is the POC. Have the driver drop you right at the mouth of the pier by the red pelican. We will have a golf cart drive you to the ceremony location from the red pelican. OPTION 3: DRIVING/PARKING Park at the sundial parking garage at the address 140 2nd Street North St. Petersburg FL 33701 This is a $7 parking garage and 5 minute walk to the entry to the pier- 800 2nd Ave NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701 by the red pelican. We will have a golf cart shuttle to the ceremony site.

A Note on Lodging Downtown

Our wedding venue is downtown St. Pete. Concidentally, a large event called the Grand Prix was rescheduled to our same wedding weekend. This caused downtown St. Pete hotel availability to decrease dramatically overnight! Therefore, for downtown St. Pete lodging we recommend looking into Air BnB, VRBO, and boutique hotels. We also have had some success with finding rooms at our first-choice hotels for you by exploring availability on third party hotel-booking sites like Orbitz, Expedia, bookings.com and hotels.com (to name a few).

The hotels we recommend searching for availability are: Watergarden Inn - BNB-style - very close to venue Bay Street Inn - BNB-style - very close to venue The Hyatt Place Downtown St. Petersburg - Walking distance to St. Pete Pier - limited availability - look on third party sites Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront - Bayfront hotel that is very close to the wedding venue and to the Dali Museum - bookings.com availability - 4 night minimum Thurs-Mon Tru by Hilton - This is located downtown but about a mile walk to the bay. - bookings.com availability - 4 night minimum Thurs-Mon

Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg Downtown

This is the hotel where we have a room block available for our guests! The location is just blocks from all of the fun downtown action, but is not a bayview or gulfview property. If you want your hotel to provide that experience, we recommend looking into the St. Pete Beach options listed. This is 1.5 miles from the St. Petersburg Pier wedding venue. We will also be providing a shuttle from this hotel to the wedding venue and back at the end of the night! Lodging Options in St. Pete Beach

The closest beach a 15-30 minute ride to downtown, so if you want to enjoy the Florida beaches we recommend researching hotels, resorts, and condos in the "St. Pete Beach" area. We will also provide a trolley from St. Pete Beach to downtown on the wedding day! A few of our suggestions are: The Don CeSar - This is the most famous hotel on the beach. The Pink Palace would provide you the most premium experience St. Pete can offer! The Hotel Zamora - This provides a nice 4-star beach hotel experience, located just across the street from the beach Beach House Suites - This is where beach and luxury meet with suites to stay in - Solo or with a fam group! Tradewinds Resort - Tradewinds is a very nice resort with all you need onsite!
