Welcome to our story

Our story began in Rome, Georgia, Abby's hometown, where Roddery was playing baseball. She knew a bit of Spanish, he knew a bit of English, and from the very start, we connected through kind actions and the intentional time we spent together. Over the years, we’ve traveled countless hours and visited many places together, building memories that have become the foundation of our relationship. We came from two different places—a small-town Southern girl and a small-town Dominican guy—and over time, our worlds blended in the most beautiful way. We shared traditions, learned from each other’s cultures, and created new experiences that reflect both our backgrounds. Through Abby’s college years, her career, and Roddery’s travels chasing his baseball dreams across the country and back to the Dominican Republic, we’ve supported each other every step of the way. We’ve grown side by side, celebrated milestones, and made countless memories across state lines and borders. Whether we were far apart or right next to each other, we never let go of what we had. And through it all, our love only grew deeper, sweeter, and stronger. Now, four years later, we are so ready to start this next chapter together. We’re beyond grateful for the journey that brought us here—and can’t wait to celebrate forever with the people we love most.
