Reese and Abby have known of each other since middle school, but the first time they OFFICIALLY met was the summer going into their sophomore year of high school. One of their mutual friends had a get-together to celebrate the end of the school year. From that day, they continued to connect and grow together.

On the first day of their vacation to Mackinac Island and Pictured Rocks, Reese planned a fancy dinner and sunset date. He set a "gift" on the table while they ate, and then he and Abby walked to Sunset Rock. At sunset, Abby opened the gift to find his and her vow books. Reese told her to open the book and there it was... THE RING. He took the ring, got down on one knee and the next thing you know they were engaged!!
