Where is this wedding happening and why there?

Answer

Upstate, New York! Abby's family is from the lovely Finger Lakes area (yes - all 70 of them, and yes - they likely will all be in attendance). Morgan fell in love with the beauty of the lake when she first visited a few summers ago. And by beauty, I mostly mean the look of 30+ family members in wigs the first day she met everyone. We're so excited for everyone to experience the same!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail, fall chic, smart casual, sunday best, etc. Just anything but our favorite attire, athleisure.

Is there a Sunday brunch?

Answer

There will not be. You are all free to be hungover and tired in solitude and we wish you well.

What is the weather usually like in September up there?

Answer

It depends on the day sometimes! We're hoping to get a 60 degree, brisk fall day, but it could be a colder, rainy (or snowy) day. We recommend bringing a jacket or layers, just in case.

Will this be outside or inside?

Answer

Everything will be outside, but we will have a larger tent for the main part of the reception (dinner, dancing, singing, jamming, etc). The tent will be equipped with heaters should it be a little chillier that day and evening.

Will there be a shuttle service?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttles picking everyone up at 1 location - the Packwood House in Skaneateles. There are also Ubers/Lyfts/cab companies in the area that can take you to the pick up locations. If you're planning on driving to the pick up location, the Packwood House has street parking in the downtown Skaneateles area.

Are children (fur and human) welcome at any of the events?

While we love all your furbabies and real babies, they are unfortunately not invited to the events over the course of the weekend.
