How does anyone meet these days? Dating apps of course! Despite having freshman Italian class together, they matched on Bumble in early 2017. Abby was looking for a date to her sorority formal and asked Moe why he thought she should take him. Moe convinced her that he looks fantastic in a suit (but Abby in a dress would overshadow him by miles) and he likes to think he's good fun to hangout with. After their first date at Aroma Joe's where Moe spilled burning hot coffee on his hand, they continued getting to know each other and made their relationship official on May 7, 2017 - two weeks before Abby went to DC for a summer internship. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2018, Abby and Moe hunkered down for a long-distance relationship. Their lives took them to Europe, Boston, and Washington DC, but they remained steadfast in their love and commitment to one another. Even when the coronavirus pandemic prevented them from visiting each other, they found creative ways to grow and strengthen their relationship. In August 2020, Moe moved to Washington DC and they finally ended their long-distance relationship! Three years later they adopted a precious corgi that they named Tootsie. In November 2023 Moe proposed to Abby in their apartment and their next adventure began!
