Lindsay Davenport

Lindsay, or LD, as she is affectionately known is my best friend. Lindsay was another fun surprise on the Belize mission trip! She and I were potluck roommates and basically have been roommates ever since. Lindsay is the best listener and loves her friends fiercely. While she may seem quiet, she can quickly become the life of the party!
Sarah Wells

Sarah and I met while working at a trendy ice cream shop in Fort Worth during college. We immediately clicked and have been best friends ever since! Sarah is the person I call when I want to do something spontaneous. She is always down for an adventure whether it's a planned girls' trip or a random Tuesday night and we decide to get double ear piercings. On a more serious note, she's the "glue" in our friend group. She always checks on us and brings us together.
Victoria Poe

I met Victoria around 2014 at our church's college ministry. I remember thinking she was so cool and easy to talk to. I definitely had a girl crush on her. (Are people still saying that?) In 2017, we were roommates for a few months and shared a very small garage apartment. Vic, I want to formally apologize for all the nights I kept you up with random stories/thoughts. (If you're reading this, let's stop and wish Mason some luck!) Vic is one of the most caring girls you'll ever meet. She doesn't know a stranger and makes you feel incredibly loved and heard in the first few minutes of meeting her.
Ashton Wimberly

Ashton and I met in a Bible study group we were placed in through our church. We bonded quickly over chicken strips and rap music. She literally knows every word to every rap song, and I have so much respect for that. As crazy and fun as she can be, she is just as sweet and selfless to all of her friends. Pretty sure she's a bridesmaid in like 30 weddings this year, so if that isn't a testament to her kindness and love for Jesus, then I don't know what is!
Ellen Clarke

Ellen and I met in the spring of 2019 at our church. She and I bonded quickly over our love for teaching. There's nothing like swapping classroom stories to bring two teachers closer together! Our favorite thing to do together is to watch a movie while eating cookie dough and drinking wine. Ellen is very thoughtful and makes sure everyone is included! She threw me the cutest themed birthday party last December, and it was the best!
Kelsey Fett

Kelsey always livens up the room! There is never a dull moment with her. The first time we ever hung out one-on-one with each other, we stepped into what looked like a cool vintage shop. Shortly upon entering, we were coaxed by the owner to try on evening dresses for her Facebook page (lol) with the promise of a free bracelet. (I'll add the famous pic above). Kelsey is genuine and will be straight up with you in the kindest way. She will be 6 months pregnant by the time of our wedding so don't forget to congratulate her and her hubby, Tim!
Marc Hughes

Rocked a solid bowl-cut until 5th grade. Was one-half of a perfectly executed hook-and-ladder in a 7th grade flag football game that people still talk about today. We now sit around the fire with some Whiskey and Cigars and talk about marriage, theology and how we can be better disciples of Christ. That is something I always look forward to. Marc and I have been around each other for 20 years and excited that there is no end in sight.

Pretty sure Salsa Limon is within his blood. Future Real Estate Mogul. Also pretty sure we became great friends cause he was in a coffee shop while supporting his future wife's education to be a nurse, but decided to hang out with me instead.

Had a Heisman Campaign in 2015. Even with his height, his as heart big as any one you know. He's the guy that will drop everything he has going on just to be there for you on the smallest things and he never takes no for an answer. We also have conversations that go to some extraordinary places as we are dumb, but I like to take some credit because a conversation like that led to flirting with his now wife, so you are welcome Alecia and Colten.
TJ Scott

Some know him as Tyrone Jamal. He loves Chipotle usually on Wednesdays. TJ is a friend who I can years without seeing but text/call him and we pick up right where we left off and I never have to put on a face or hide around him. Those are the friends you keep around. He also thinks he is pure Texas Country but he can appreciate a nice wave every now and then
Kyle Yarborough

Or "Yarbro" cause he's a bro. the bro-iest bro. he's the bro that knows a ton about college football and he's the bro that helps distract by talking about football when we don't want to work anymore. Kyle is also the guy to go to when you need some one to listen to and just vent to.
Preston Newsome

Preston is the guy that is good at everything and that kind of becomes annoying for everyone else. However, he never makes you feel like you can't do something or aren't able to, but just got to push yourself. He is also the best at asking questions that get to the realness of it all and for that I am always grateful for a FaceTime with Preston. Also, he DJ's so hit him up for a killer Spotify playlist.

Brother from another Mother (literally). Checkmark on dumb adoption joke. Sam is quietly one of the funniest people I know. He is quiet by nature, but knows when to make the funniest jokes and I always appreciate hearing them. Sam is not a man of many words as he will admit, but he one of the smartest, musically-talented, funniest, kindest people I know and I am so proud to call him my real brother.
