Do I need my passport?

Answer

YES! You will not be able to get on the ship without it. Keep in mind the “6-month rule” for international travel. Your passport must have 6 months of validity left beyond the day we board the ship. If your passport expires in 2027, make sure to get it renewed before the trip just to be safe.

Will the ship wait for me if my flight is delayed?

Answer

Unfortunately, the ship waits for no one. We recommend getting to Miami the night before we set sail.

Are meals included?

Answer

Yes, all food is included. Pop, juice, water, tea, and coffee are also included. Be prepared to pay for alcohol & specialty coffees - that's about it. Most of you should be able to book dinner reservations 45 days before we set sail. Keep your eye on emails from Virgin and check your Virgin Voyages app for details.

Is there a drink package?

Other than the $100 bar tab you receive for being a wedding guest - you are welcome to purchase a bar tab up to 24 hours before we set sail through your Virgin Voyages app. Each bar tab purchase comes with a bonus credit. Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Yes - each cabin may bring two 750ml bottles of wine, sparking wine, or champagne in their carry-on luggage on embarkation day only. Beer or liquor are not permitted and will be confiscated if brought onboard in checked luggage.

What about wifi?

Answer

Virgin provides free Wi-Fi. In our opinion, it is not necessary to purchase the upgraded wifi option. The free Wi-Fi has always been just fine for light social media scrolling, texting, facetiming, etc. Make sure you turn your phone on airplane mode once you get on the ship!
