Mark and Abby met in Philadelphia shortly after the pandemic. Mark had recently moved to the city start his career at EY while Abby was wrapping up her time at Drexel University. After meeting for coffee and walking around campus, Mark recalls telling his roommates about how great their first date went. From there, the two soon became inseparable, spending weekends together in Philly, down the shore, and visiting friends in different cities. In 2025, Abby accompanied Mark on a last minute work trip to Europe. It was at the Palace of Versailles in France that Mark popped the question, asking Abby to marry him with her late grandmother's engagement ring. While Abby was completely surprised, it was an easy yes.
