What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

6 P.M. Cocktails will be served at 6, and the bride and groom will arrive at 6:20 P.M.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, Cocktail Attire (no shorts or jeans). The Freighthouse is an historic building and has no AC, so you should dress for the weather! Flats and wedges are recommended; it's an old plank floor, so wear shoes that you will be comfortable in for the entire evening (or bring comfortable dancing shoes).

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. We love your kids—we really do. Unfortunately, you'll have to find a babysitter. If you're travelling for the reception and need help, feel free to reach out!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free food options available. If you have a food allergy that we didn't cover, please reach out.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. The hotel we have reserved a block of rooms at is a short drive. We recommend that our guests either drive and park at the Freighthouse or take a ride sharing option like Lyft or Uber.
