Maid of Honor
I first met Adeline when I was 1 year and 10 months old and got a best friend for life. I used to get annoyed when we wore similar clothes as kids, but now we match for fun. She is a talented artist/designer who recently graduated from San Jose State University with a BS in Industrial Design. Some of her favorite things are capybaras, rice, boba, and our family dog Polly.
Eli Laboca
Best Man
I met Eli in 7th grade. In high school, we became best friends. There almost wasn’t a single day that we didn’t hang out. Whether it was riding our bikes, playing games, or doing absolutely nothing, it was always a good time. I always knew one day when I were to get married, Eli would be my first choice at Best Man.
Kristy Cheung

During our first year of high school, Kristy sat next to me in our Honors Biology class. She asked me for binder paper everyday and I would fling my wet hair at her after swimming in P.E. I'll never forget the time I told her I was going to ditch her in the bathroom and she chased after me, but slipped and ended up on the bathroom floor. Kristy studied Architecture and got her Bachelors from Cal Poly Pomona and her Masters from UCLA.
Scott Nelson

In my first year of college, I saw Scott singing “Change the World” by Eric Clapton at our choir concert. I was enamored. I had to let him know how great he was, and that was the start of our life long friendship. We were both music majors at San Joaquin Delta college. Scott became one of my best friends through choir, being in bands together, watching movies (sleep over movie nights), and eating/hanging out. Scott will be playing acoustic guitar for our wedding ceremony and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Scott is currently completing his doctorate in Louisiana.
Katherine Tran

I met Katherine for the first time during undergrad orientation. We discovered we lived a few doors down from each other and were both in the pre-dental program and became roommates the following year. She's the first person I've actually seen wear socks with flip flops, and she would sometimes forget to change into shoes on the way to class. My favorite memory of Katherine is when she microwaved a brownie and it caught on fire. She is currently studying Periodontology at Boston University
Ryan Vang
Groomsman
I’ve known Ryan since my sophomore year of high school. He is to this day my greatest music student. It was so easy to mentor such a hard working talent. He came from having little to no musical talent and has easily become one of greatest musicians I know. Ryan is truly the brother I’ve always wanted and I am blessed to call him my family. I can’t wait to continue to watch him grow in his musical career. Ryan is currently attending University of the Pacific Conservatory of music.
Ashley Chau

First thing I think of when I think of Ashley is boba. Tired of studying for exams? Boba. Didn't do well on a practical? Boba. Hungry? Boba. Dental school was difficult, but Ashley's fun and positive energy along with our frequent boba runs helped get me through the hardest 3 years of my life. We were almost roommates our 1st year of dental school, roommates the 2nd, and neighbors the 3rd, but she's always been there for me through both stressful and happy times.
Spencer Kjelgren

Spencer has been my best gaming bro online. He is from Alberta, Calgary. I’ve spent more time playing video games with Spencer more than I have with anyone else in my life (and I play games a lot). Through thick and thin, Spencer has always been around and I knew I had to have him as a groomsman. Spencer currently works IT security and can squat 30,000 lbs.
Lena Tieu

When I was looking for a Freshman-year roommate at UOP, Lena was a potential candidate. We didn't end up choosing each other that year, but had a blast being roomies the following two years. We have a similar taste in books, music, and movies, so I always go to her for recommendations. She's one of the hardest workers I know, and recently graduated from UOP Pharmacy school. (She's a basically a drug dealer)
James Junaidi

I met James when I first started dating Abby (he is Abby’s cousin). I never met another person with a personality like James. I grew very fond of him. We were always interested in similar things and we clicked very well and pretty fast. We love to eat. We are very good at eating. I’m not sure if I bond with anyone else over food like I do with James. He easily became one of my closest mates and I look forward to more food sessions with James. James is currently an engineer for Strivr.
