We are looking forward to celebrating with you and saying our I Do's!

We met the old fashioned way - online. Before our first date on February 6th, 2021, Abby requested that we meet on the Covington promenade so she didn't have to try to find him in a crowded restaurant. We first bonded over Goetta Hush Puppies at Libby's and decided it was going well enough to grab a margarita next door at Zapata's. Next thing we know, we're spending almost every day with each other, going on amazing trips, getting a second dog, and moving into a home on 5th street. Fast forward to November 18th, 2022, Lee asked Abby to go on a walk with him and the dogs before our reservation at Libby's for "Abby's Birthday Dinner." Unaware of Lee's other plans, Abby asked if he could handle them alone. It was too cold that day. After some encouraging, she went on the walk where Lee led the way to the promenade, got down on one knee, said some very nice things he can't remember, and proposed. Abby said, "Yes, of course!" with Nelly and Banjo by our sides. We went to Paddy's on Main for a bottle of champagne before our reservation at Libby's, where we got the Goetta Hush Puppies. Lee had one more trick up his sleeve for Abby - both of their families surprising her at Zapata's for more food, margaritas, and celebrations. We are so excited to tie the knot on September 29th, 2023 in Covington, where our love story started and continues to this day.
