The Couple
Abby and Klay started dating in September of 2018 and met while volunteering for different police departments. Abby was very outgoing and Klay was more quiet and reserved, which ultimately led the two of them to form an instant connection. From 2018 to 2021, Abby and Klay did long-distance while Abby was getting her bachelor's degree in Colorado. Once Abby moved back to Oregon, they started living together in Beaverton while Klay continued working as a police officer and Abby started her job as a code compliance officer. They have spent the last several years adventuring and building a life together. They enjoy travelling and have been to Spain, Hawaii, Canada, and will soon be going to Japan. In 2024, they welcomed Boots and Chewie into their family. They recently purchased their first home in Woodburn to be closer to Willamette University (go bearcats!) where Abby will be starting law school in the fall. They are looking forward to starting this next chapter as a married couple.
