FAQs

The Wedding Website of Abby Dwyer and Kevin Gregory
Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love your kids, we want to make sure we get to spend time with YOU at the wedding! This will be adults only.

Question

Will there be swimming?

Answer

The Club House is right on Glen Wild Lake. We're aiming for a casual day filled with lots of fun, so please bring your bathing suits (and a towel) if you'd like! I'm sure many of us will end up in the lake one way or another.

Question

What does parking look like?

Answer

There is a small parking lot in front of the clubhouse as well as some grassy areas surrounding the road. Feel free to park on the side of the road there if there is a free spot, but please don't park in front of anyone's home or block the road. If all parking is taken in front of the club house, please park at the nearby middle school, Walter T. Bergen. It is located just down the road (about 5 minute walk on a sidewalk).

Question

Will there be any provided transportation on Saturday?

Answer

Yes! A complimentary shuttle bus will run continuously starting at 2:30 pm and running through 1:30 am. It will stop at both hotels (the Holiday Inn Express Haskell-Wayne and the Baymont by Wyndham Pompton Plains/Wayne) and the Club House. Due to the small nature of Bloomingdale, this will likely be the best option for transportation. Ubers may be available, but may not be plentiful.

Question

Are there any events on Sunday?

Answer

Yes! Please stop by the Gregory's home at 21 South Rd in Bloomingdale at 10:00 on Sunday morning for breakfast and coffee before heading out. We would love to see you one last time before the weekend comes to an end! Kiddos are welcomed.

Question

Are there any events on Friday before the welcome drinks?

Answer

Yes! Great question! We will be meeting in front of the Club House at 9:00 am on Friday for a run/walk around the lake (~2.75 mile loop) followed by a swim for anyone interested. Afterwards, we plan to hang at the beach in front of the clubhouse all day until about 4:00 pm (weather permitting). Please feel free to bring your bathing suit and towel and swing by if you're in town!

Question

Is there anything I should bring?

Answer

A bathing suit, a towel, & a change of clothes if desired. Otherwise just yourself.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Whatever you feel comfortable in! Keep in mind, we're aiming for a casual event. We're talking Hawaiian Shirts and flip flops. Pants or shorts? Doesn't matter! A sundress? Sure! Really, whatever you feel most comfortable in! Feel free to bring a change of clothes if you feel more comfortable with that too.

Question

Should I bring my dancing shoes?

Answer

Yes!! there will be a dance floor in the clubhouse that we expect to be packed by the end of the night.
