This was Abby's first weekend visiting Kevin in Olympia, and, our first photos together!

We began a tradition of carving this in places we found that were already full of this kind of thing. This was our first "K+A," and there would be many more to come.

Turns out, Kev doesn't sweat. Must be nice...

Kev's very first trip to Spokane, Abby was going for the hard sell.

Kev made our mark in Spokane!

The Mountaineering Club near UW, one of the best views around!

"It's only 35 miles" he said..."you'll make it"...he said.

Might be our favorite place so far to have our initials.

Gorgeous hike at Lake 22.

Our first weekend in Quebec! This city was incredible, full of history and charm.

The most STUNNING basilica just outside of Quebec City. We were so grateful to Kev's friend, Xavier, for taking us there.

Our first date was the Great Wheel in Seattle, so anytime we are in a city with a big wheel, we try to go. Abby just LOVES that this takes place very high up.

Snoqualmie Falls!

Riding in our friends' awesome Sprinter van to the Hiawatha Trail. We had the best weekend camping with them in Montana.

Route of the Hiawatha Trail, very muddy, 10/10 recommend.

Turns out climbing Steptoe Butte is tougher than we thought on a 100 degree day. Kev has given Abby a whole new appreciation for the beauty of the Palouse. It's good to see familiar things through new eyes.

Our first trip to San Diego together for Kev's work.

More hiking! And sweating!

Kev never hesitates to let Ellie have some water time. He's the best dog Dad on earth.

First time in Chelan visiting Abby's friend, the sunsets are also lovely there.

Such a fun 1920's wedding. Not a lash was batted about going full send on the theme. Abby is THRILLED that Kev will always dance with her.

Photo representation of our lives fall 2023 to spring 2024. 1984 RV renovation. 6 months of work. Lived with Abby's Parents. We still like each other.

First time meeting Mama Rose in Silver Spring! Mama Rose is the sweetest-- she made us the best Cameroonian lunch!

Ellie's 3rd birthday. Kev INSISTED that Ellie get to eat an entire chicken on her birthday. Guess who she loves more now.

WA DC, Abby's first time at the White House! Joe Biden does a great job mowing his lawn, impeccable work, Joe.

Kev told Abby that there's a joke about the Washington Monument-- it can't be repeated. Very Freudian though.

Beautiful day for a Seattle stroll

Back in Olympia visiting this same trail again, right around the time of our first anniversary. We made sure to make our mark this time; this trail will always be special to us.

Bellevue. Kev says it means "beautiful view" in French.

Bellevue Botanical Gardens

Another one by some water, we are pros! This one is near the dog park that Ellie can't go to...

"Surviving a worm hole." -Kev

One of our favorite weekend pastimes has been finding new places to walk next to some kind of water. The area we are in has made that pretty easy.

Leavenworth, the town itself is fun, but everything around the town is incredible.

Kev is not a beer guy, today he was a beer guy.

Abby is not a beer gal, today she was (also) a beer gal.

Our first (and only) outdoor camping BBQ from the RV.

More gorgeous Leavenworth scenery.

Tulip season is HUGE in the NW. We learned that other people think so too, DO NOT go on a weekend.

First hike of the season, not prepared. Not prepared at all.

More water walks...

She's obsessed with him... it's adorable and unfair all at the same time.

Year two to San Diego for Kev's work.

Napping on Ocean Beach... life was tough that day.

On the USS Midway. Enthusiasm over skill.

Kev's little boy dreams comin' true!

SWOON.

If you're already married, how did you feel on the first night of your engagement? If you're not married, how do you think you would you feel? :D

The day after we got engaged at the CUTEST Airbnb outside of San Diego. This place will forever hold one our dearest memories.

Had to do some wine tasting while in California wine country...obviously.

Breathtaking views around Mt. Baker.

Artist Point Trail near Mt Baker, we've never seen so much natural beauty in one area.

At our sweet friend's wedding in the mountains. It was a joy to laugh, dance, and celebrate them together.
