The wedding attire will be semi-formal, however we wish for all our guests to be comfortable! Please wear shoes you are confident walking in on potentially uneven surfaces.
Heavenly! Day-time temperatures in July will be around 75* F. Temperatures will drop in the mornings and evenings, so don't forget to bring a jacket or shawl! You should also pack some hiking shoes for the rest of your time there - this place is stunning with lots of great trails!
The town of Crested Butte sits at 8,885 feet and Mount Crested Butte (our venue location) is at 9,375 feet. It is important to drink lots of water even before you arrive in Crested Butte as well as stay hydrated during your visit. Please also keep in mind that alcohol may affect you differently - 1 drink at elevation can equal 2 at sea level! We want to have tons of fun but we also want everyone to be safe. You may consider packing some oxygen (check out boostoxygen.com) if you are concerned about the altitude impacting your stay. There's no shame in a little O2!
As much as we love kids, we ask that only invited guests (and their plus-ones) attend the wedding. If you have any questions with this, please send us an email at abbyandkaelan.wedding@gmail.com .
We suggesting monitoring ticket prices for flights into Denver, Colorado Springs, and Gunnison airports. All of these airports have car rental/ride-share options available.
