Our story is unique and a bit crazy. But who doesn't love a good story?! We met online through a mutual friend group a little over 6 years ago. We instantly clicked and bonded over our mutual love of video games and dogs. We very quickly became the best of friends. We talked almost every single day for about 2 years before we eventually drifted a part. Justin lived in Canada. And I lived in Texas. Long-Distance friendship proved to be a lot harder as our lives continually got busier. A few years later we re-connected and picked up our friendship right where it left off. In 2016 we both happened to be in California, a place neither one of us lived, at the same time. Justin was visiting friends. And I was working at Disneyland. Coincidence? Perhaps. Fate? Most definitely. We met-up and decided to turn our friendship into a real relationship. Sure it was crazy. But to us, it didn't matter that we were 1,500 miles away from one another. What mattered was the endless butterflies we both felt anytime we were near each other or anytime we talked. The countless flights and facetime calls were all worth it. It turns out that distance means so little when you have someone who means so much.
