Our love lore begins at Camp Winacka, a beloved Girl Scout overnight camp nestled in the oak speckled hills of San Diego County. We both worked as support staff under the camp names, Squid and Muppet. That summer was a whirlwind of (literal) catfishing, Legos, and blossoming mutual admiration. Our first date "off the mountain" included sushi, tiki drinks, and one of us accidentally tumbling down into San Diego Bay in pursuit of a marine slug (Navanax Inermis). Our romance continued to grow through global pandemic, cross country moves, graduate degrees, and various levels of long & short distance. We're grateful to now be rooted in our community of Sacramento and are looking forward to growing our family when the time is right. We are thrilled to celebrate love with the people we love!
