Chaska is a small town in Minnesota, just outside of the Twin Cities. While you are visiting the Great Land of 10,000 Lakes, be sure to participate in local fare. Minnesota is also known for its brewery of fine beers and restoration of regional parks. Less than 10 minutes away is the University of Minnesota's Arboretum. This is where the Honeycrisp apple was invented. Stop by downtown Excelsior, a city known for its classy and vibrant recreation, and have a beer at the Excelsior Brewing Co are have a relaxing lunch at Maynard's.
If you would like to travel into our mid-size city, Abby recommends that you stop by some art museums. She is currently interning at an art conservation company that attends to sculptures within the Walker Art Center's famous sculpture garden every summer.
