The countdown to "I do" has begun!

Jack and I met the way many modern love stories begin—on Tinder (yes, really). What started as a casual swipe turned into the best decision I ever made. At the time, he was down in good ol’ East Texas playing hockey at ETBU, just a short drive from my hometown of Tatum. One swipe right turned into a match… and from his very first pick-up line, I was completely hooked. For our first date, we kept it real classy with dinner at Olive Garden (fine dining around these parts). In true Southern fashion, he picked me up from my house—after my dad, of course, made quick note of his license plate before letting me go. You could say Jack had a few people to impress that night… and he passed with flying colors. From that moment on, everything just clicked. What started as a dating app match quickly turned into something so much more—proof that sometimes the best things really do come from the most unexpected places (and a well-timed swipe). I’m so grateful for hockey and even more grateful for God bringing Jack to East Texas at just the right time. Jack always says he came to Texas just to find me, so it only feels right that our forever begins right where it all started.
