FAQs

I have a question!
Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We want you to let loose (within reason) and enjoy yourself without any other worries, so we kindly ask that you please attend without your children.

Question

Are there any no-no's to my outfit?

Answer

Please feel free to wear whatever you would like, but be conscious that our wedding is in December so a jacket/some form of cover up will be essential - especially if you want to go out and see the deer! We do however, have a 'no hat' rule, so please don't wear a hat (other hair accessories is absolutely fine!).

Question

Are there rooms available?

Answer

There are 29 rooms on a first come first serve basis, ranging from £145+. Please call 0191 933 7409 (option 1 for accommodation) and there will be a £50 non refundable and non transferable deposit to pay.

Question

Are we able to visit the deer?

Answer

We are looking to arrange a time where someone from the venue can go out with yourselves to feed the deer (so if you are wearing heels, may be worth bringing some flats too). However if we are unable to arrange this, they are dotted around the fields that surround the venue and sometimes walk up to people on the other side of the fence.

Question

Are there any wedding gifts you would like?

Answer

We are so incredibly luckily to have what we need, so we are kindly asking guests who wish to offer us a gift if we could please have some money that we could contribute towards our honeymoon. No pressure at all to donate.

Question

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Absolutely yes, there is quite a large car park at the venue.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are politely declining plus ones, unless invited specifically. We are wanting to celebrate our day with our close friends and family.

Question

Can we stay in a room the night before?

Answer

There are a few select rooms the venue have released for the night before the wedding. If you wish to stay, let Abby or Harry know and if you please call 0191 933 7409 (option 1 for accommodation) and there will be a £50 non refundable and non transferable deposit to pay.
