Abby and Derek first met at the Mardi Gras Texas-style country concert in Dallas back in February 2018. At the time, Abby had already chosen Tarleton for college, while Derek was still deciding his path. They ended up dancing together all night and knew it was love at first sight. After staying in touch, Abby convinced Derek to join her at Tarleton, and they made their relationship official on September 8th, 2018. They continued to grow closer throughout college, and now, here they are, ready to say “I do.”
