Question

Does “Cocktail Attire” Require a Suit & Tie

Answer

No. But, try to keep it fun and more business casual style. We aren’t against pearl snaps, blazers, or fun patterns. Short hems, long hems - it doesn’t matter to us so long as you’re feeling yourself.

Question

Is There Parking?

Answer

Parking is EXTREMELY limited. The venue does not have a designated parking area, and the sparse street spots are also used by the nearby establishments. We STRONGLY encourage our guests to utilize their favorite ride-share app (Uber, Lyft, etc), not only because we hope you take advantage of the wide array of wines offered at Wanderlust and want you to make good choices (don’t drink & drive y’all), but also because we promise it’s the easier option.

Question

Why is the Walk Out before the end?

Answer

While we thoroughly enjoy some heavy bass & booty shaking, we understand that is not everyone’s jam. The early walk out is so that we can enjoy the entire experience with all of our guests, without subjecting unwilling participants to witnessing unsightly wobbles.

Question

Are there preferred accommodations?

Answer

ATX is a big, little city with rental options spanning cute Airbnb bungalows on the East side, famous boutique hotels on Congress, fancy Gatsby-esk hotel grounds in downtown proper, and a plethora of more budget friendly options. Y’all, there’s literally over 500 options within a 15 minute drive to the venue. You do you, but we would suggest getting accommodations closer to the venue as we recommend using a ride-share to get there and back. Keep in mind that the venue is just outside of downtown, and that means it’s in the midst of the “Dirty 6th” party street & East Side night life. It’s probably best to let the professionals handle the operation of a motor vehicle when dodging inebriated pedestrians.

Question

Is the Venue Wheelchair Accessible?

Answer

Yes, both the front & side entrances can accommodate any necessary assistive devices.

Question

Is this an Indoor or Outdoor Venue?

Answer

As it is ATX in March, it’s anyone’s bet how the weather will accommodate us. To save us all from worrying about whether to wear a jacket to cozy up or be as scantily dressed as possible to avoid melting in the heat, the entire event at Wanderlust is inside. So be presentable, you can’t blame it on the wiles of the Texas weather this time.

Question

Can we bring the Kids?

Answer

You guys. There are simply too many of us. While we would love to meet & hang out with all of your munchkins, unfortunately, that would increase the guest count by literally over 100 people. If we haven’t had the pleasure of giving auntie/uncle real talks, wiping questionable messes off of their face, or laughed at their age-appropriate mishaps within the past year - it’s a no for us.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

While we support you and all of your questionable romantic decisions, we aren’t aiming to pay wedding prices per head to validate them. That being said, if we messed up and didn’t invite the love of your life, reach out ASAP so we can remedy that if possible.
