A short walk down the hill from the hotel with tons of different shops, restaurants and bars. Farmers Market (Saturday) 8 am- 2 pm Restaurants to try: Postino, Japango Sushi, Rosetta Hall, Bartaco, Pearl Street Pub, The Post, you really can't go wrong! Bars: Rio Grande if you're looking for a strong marg. The Sundowner or The Sink if you're looking for a dive bar. For an elevated cocktail, Bitter Bar is a great stop. Press Play is an arcade bar. Hotel Boulderado: This is a historic hotel right off Pearl Street. They have a great brunch joint (Spruce Farm and Fish), a lunch/dinner spot called the Corner Bar, and a late night speakeasy vibe with live music called License No 1. Dushanbe Tea House: This is a Michelin recognized tea house that offers lots of different teas and delicious food. The real treat is the ambiance! It is an ornate and beautiful building that was originally constructed in Dushanbe, Tajikistan and transported and re-built here in Boulder.
There is tons of hiking walkable from the hotel. The hotel also offers a free shuttle drop off/pickup within a mile! Chautauqua Park There a tons of trails that are very easy to navigate, but mostly uphill/steep. We recommend using All Trails to find one that suits you best. This is where we took our engagement photos, so very picturesque! It is uphill from the hotel so we recommend taking the shuttle to save your energy for the hike! Eben G Fine Park/Peoples Crossing Trailhead This is a a nice park next to Boulder Creek with many interconnecting walking and biking trails. There is a paved path if you just want to stroll along the river or designated hiking trails from the north side at Peoples Crossing. Biking If you're looking to rent bikes for the day, University Bicycles offers a wide range of bikes to choose from. There are also grab and go bikes located right outside of the Limelight and at different spots around town.
If you are coming early or staying late, Estes Park is about an hour away and is a super cute town nestled right next to Rocky Mountain National Park. Reservations are required for entry into RMNP, but the colors will be changing and it is a site to be seen! There is also the Stanley Hotel which is famous for being the inspiration behind The Shining.
Daniels old stomping grounds! If you're looking to take a stroll through campus it is adjacent to the hotel and is quite beautiful.
