FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children (18 yrs of age and younger) at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are trying to keep our wedding small and intimate. Due to this and the limited space of the venue, we are requesting that people not bring a plus one or any additional guests not invited by the couple.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is daytime casual or semi-formal. We suggest dressy but not overly formal dresses and skirts, as well as dress pants or slacks for women and button down shirts, dress pants or slacks & suits (tie optional) for men. We are getting married during the spring time so we encourage all to wear colorful attire including florals.

Question

Where is it being held?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both being held in the historic recreation hall inside Lockhart State Park, with the ceremony being held on the outside back patio and the reception taking place part indoor & outdoor. It is located toward the back of the park. Park rangers are available to help you find it if you have trouble. There is a $2 entrance fee for this park. This goes directly to and helps support the upkeep of the park.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are limited parking spots available at Lockhart. We encourage you to please carpool

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have a photographer to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! Feel free to take as many as you’d like during the reception.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by April 1st so we can plan accordingly!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Monetary gifts are preferred but yes, we do have a wedding registry for the odd thing or 2 that we’re missing. :) You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!
