Downtown Denver
We have been on many dates here! Whether it be watching a musical at the Buell Theater, walking the 16th Street Mall, or eating at the Mellow Mushroom, it's always been a blast!
Zoo Entrance
Our first full day together was spend at the Denver Zoo. Because of this and our love of zoos, we've been back plenty of times!
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Even if there isn't a concert at the time, Red Rocks is an absolute must with historic beauty and undeniable culture.
Estes Park
One of the best places to view the Rocky Mountains and home to the cutest downtown to shop around at.
Trail Ridge Road
This is the highest paved road in the united states. It's a personal favorite of ours because not only is it a beautiful drive but you are almost guaranteed to see elk and other wildlife.
Laramie
Only 2.5 hours from Denver, Laramie was a HUGE part of our lives. It's where we got our first place together, stormed War Memorial Football Stadium after a big win, and hung out with all our friends at the downtown bars. Medicine Bow Peak
A mountain we, quite literally, climbed together, this was the sight of our engagement pictures and a place we visited a lot when school got stressful. Be sure to keep an eye open for moose on your way too!
Sinks Canyon State Park
We discovered this state park one summer, and it has become a favorite. It is a great place to go camping where you can take breathtaking hike to the top of a waterfall.
Yellowstone National Park
While this one may be a days drive from Denver, if you're road-tripping out west you can't miss the opportunity to see the beauty Wyoming has to offer.
Mount Rushmore
This was a memorial day weekend trip we will never forget! It's an American favorite for an obvious choice. It would make a great stop for those traveling to and from Wisconsin.
