Lake Eola Park

Lake Eola Park

512 E Washington Street, Orlando, FL 32801

Lake Eola Park is the heart of downtown Orlando and offers a little something for everyone. It is the best spot to take morning stroll as the city wakes up or a scenic evening walk with the fountain lit up against the skyline. The lake is also home to swans, paddle boats, and shaded picnic areas. Surrounding Lake Eola, you'll find no shortage of coffee shops, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance. One of our favorites is Thrive — a lively, welcoming spot known for its creative drinks, diverse menu, and fun, energetic atmosphere (we love the truffle burger bites, all of their sushi rolls, and the spicy fries). We have spent so many fun nights there. Every Sunday, the park hosts an amazing farmers market- check it out if you have time!

Mathers Social Gathering

Mathers Social Gathering

30 South Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801

Mather’s Social Gathering is one of downtown Orlando’s hidden gems — a true speakeasy tucked away on the second floor of an old historic building. For locals, it’s a favorite spot that feels like a secret you’re excited to share. This is our favorite late-night spot in Orlando. Known for having the best craft cocktails in town (seriously — nothing else compares), we always end the night there with an espresso martini! Note: ID is required to enter Mather's- (also, no flip flops or casual clothes permitted)

DOMU

DOMU

3201 Corrine Drive, Orlando, FL 32803

Domu at East End Market is hands down our absolute favorite dinner spot in all of Orlando. Tucked alongside of East End Market, Domu has earned Michelin recognition for their gourmet ramen. We always order "the Tokyo" ramen, but their most famous item isn’t the ramen — it’s the award-winning chicken wings. We go there on a regular basis just for the wings, and they are an absolute must-try if you're visiting. Domu doesn’t take reservations, and the wait can get pretty long, especially during peak dinner times. We highly recommend getting there right when they open for lunch or dinner to snag a table without too much of a wait. If you find yourself having to wait, you can try grabbing a seat at the bar (which often opens up faster), or you can head upstairs to The Neighbors, a really cool little bar and boutique where we usually wait it out. They have great drinks and fun, locally made Florida gifts and home goods to browse while you wait.

Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream

Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream

3114 Corrine Drive, Orlando, FL 32803

If you somehow manage to save a little room after our Domu dinner recommendation, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream is a must. There are a few Kelly’s locations around Orlando, but the one just across the street from East End Market couldn’t be more convenient. Kelly’s is a local favorite for good reason — the "Cookie Monster" is the best flavor in town. Abby never strays from this order, and Bryan can never resist going all in with one scoop of Cookie Monster and one scoop of Ore-Dough. Two scoops is an aggressive choice — but self-control has never been our thing, so it happens every time....lol.

Sunroom Bar

Sunroom Bar

1319 North Mills Avenue, Orlando, FL 32803

We love spending time at the Sunroom on Mills, especially during happy hour. Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 p.m., and the drinks are consistently amazing. One of the best parts is that Sunroom is connected to another great spot, the Guesthouse, giving you even more options without ever having to leave. And if you can’t make it in time for happy hour, no worries — they stay open late, making it the perfect place to keep the night going. If you are hungry after, it is also connected to Black Rooster Taqueria!

The Boheme

The Boheme

325 South Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801

We're thrilled to be staying at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando for the wedding weekend! Their rooftop pool, artsy atmosphere, and dining options make it our favorite place to getaway. One of the highlights of our stay is dining at The Boheme, the hotel's signature restaurant. Known for its French-style inspiration, The Boheme offers a food and drink menu that combines tradition with modern creativity.

AC Sky Bar

AC Sky Bar

333 South Garland Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801

AC Sky Bar in downtown Orlando is a rooftop gem that offers a stunning 360° panorama of the city skyline. Perched on the 18th floor of the AC Hotel by Marriott (you may be staying here), this view stretches across the city and is Abby's favorite sunset spot. AC Sky Bar offers Spanish-inspired tapas and small plates, complemented by a selection of artisanal cocktails and local craft brews. "The Cloud" is a fun drink and is topped with vapor!
