Though it is still up for debate who is MOST responsible for this union, it can be universally agreed upon that it was a combined effort between Joey Hamilton (best man), Lyssa Angis (bridesmaid), and Brian Angis (everyone's friend, very nice guy, great golfer). Our first date was at Sebago Brewing in Scarborough, ME, on the night the Boston Bruins lost in game 7 of the Stanley Cup. We closed the restaurant down having talked for hours, we were the last ones there and realized we should probably leave when the staff began vacuuming around us at our table.
One of the things that we did on our trip to Key West, Florida was borrow the bikes from our hotel to ride out to Pigeon Key. Pigeon Key is only accessible by walking or cycling via the Old Seven Mile Bridge or by ferry. It was a beautiful, HOT day. On the way out to the island we stopped on multiple occasions to watch fisherman and manta rays out in the turquoise water. On our way back, during a break in the foot traffic, Bryan pointed out a ghost manta ray as a guise to get me off my bike. While we were stopped and looking for this imaginary manta ray, Bryan dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. (I said yes!)
