They first met in 2015 on a double date — the kind of teenage setup no one expects to turn into a forever story. At the time, he worked at Chick-fil-A, and she spent a lot of time visiting him there (mostly for the free ice cream, though he was pretty cute, too). They went to nearly every school dance together, making memories that would last a lifetime. After she graduated and went off to college, life pulled them in different directions, and they took a break. But a couple of years later — after lots of growing and figuring things out — they reconnected. It didn’t take long to realize what everyone around them already knew: this was it. They’ve been inseparable ever since. They’ve spent the past five years growing together, adding a couple of dogs to the mix and squeezing in as many beach trips as possible. They recently bought their first home and are excited to keep building their life (and probably a few DIY projects) together. Last April, he proposed in a romantic courtyard filled with old photos of them, flowers, and champagne. (She may have blacked out during the proposal, but thankfully she said yes!) Everyone saw this coming a mile away… and now they’re finally getting married!
