It was April 2016. Abby and Brannon met in the most romantic setting of all time, the expo window of a local pizza restaurant. Those first few years consisted of long shifts and the occasional hang along with their many mutual friends. One of the earliest memories Abby has of Brannon was being at his 21st birthday party singing Africa at the top of their lungs at the end of the night. Brannon's earliest memory of Abby was training her to be a server at Red Elephant. It wasn't until 2019 that they really got to know each other. Brannon had just moved back to Tallahassee. Abby was working at another local restaurant at this point, and the day Brannon came in to interview for a job there was the day it all really began. Abby was mopping the floors when Brannon walked in, and remembers standing there chatting with him for way longer than she should of while on the clock. Some may call it time theft, but we will go ahead and call it love at first sight. Brannon asked Abby on a lunch date for the next day, it was over pancakes at canopy road and a walk around cascades park that they both realized there was definitely a spark between them. From there everything fell into place. The next years were filled with love, fun, growth and many unforgettable moments. There were so many highs and of course some lows (let's be real, did anyone actually have a good 2020?), but Abby and Brannon always knew that they were meant to live this life together. And so they did just that. From family trips to slow sundays at home, from pizza dates to folding laundry, everything makes sense when you find your person.

Brannon knew he wanted to propose early in the year, even had dreams of getting down on one knee at the Taylor Swift concert they attended in April. He ultimately chose against it, not wanting to interfere with even a second of Abby's time enjoying her favorite artist. Fast forward a few months, on a sunny summer evening on family vacation, Brannon and Abby watched as a couple got engaged on the beach down below. It was Abby's excitement that made things clear to Brannon, he knew it was time to propose and began planning the perfect surprise. With how perceptive Abby is, Brannon knew he had to work extra hard to keep these plans a secret. Knowing how special it would be to Abby, he planned to have some of their closest family and friends to be right there, ready to celebrate the big moment. Brannon chose a day he knew would catch Abby completely off guard. He planned for what she thought would just be her graduation party, making it the last thing she would expect. After flights were booked and plans were set, all that was left to do was play it cool until the big day came. Brannon was insanely nervous the morning of, changing his outfit about 1000 times. Abby was confused and kept insisting he did not need to wear a suit jacket, it wasn't that fancy of a party. What she didn't know was that Brannon just needed a place to stash the ring box. Driving to Abby's mom's house, Taylor Swift blasting on the radio, the energy was high. Abby was nervous for all off their parents to be meeting for the first time. Brannon was just nervous. Then came the big moment. It was perfect. The path leading up to the front door was lined with rose petals and pictures from the past few years. Abby couldn't believe what was happening. After it was official, the family and friends spilled out from their hiding spots and the celebration began. The day was filled with so much love and laughter. Might be biased, but this might have been the best proposal of all time.

Brannon and Abby couldn't be more excited for this next chapter of their lives. It is the love of all of their wonderful family and friends that makes it possible to live the life they do and share such beautiful memories.
