Although Abby and Blake grew up crossing paths, their story unfolded in God’s perfect timing. They first knew of each other in elementary school through a mutual friend. Years later, they ended up attending pianos lessons from the same teacher during middle and high school years, completely unaware that God was already weaving their lives together. High school brought them even closer. When Abby transferred to Grace Christian, where Blake already attended, their stories moved onto the same page. But it wasn’t until Blake’s senior year, on the very first day of school in 2019, that they finally began talking. What started as simple conversation grew into a friendship that neither of them could ignore. A month later, Blake came to Abby’s 17th birthday party and the rest was history.. Looking back, they both see how God was guiding each step, preparing their hearts and shaping their paths long before they realized it. Years of growing up, growing closer, and growing in their faith together followed. And on October 19th, 2024, on Blake’s family farm, surrounded by God’s creation, Blake asked Abby to marry him. Today, they look at their story and see God’s fingerprints all over it. They feel deeply blessed, humbled, and thankful for the way He brought them together, sustained their love, and led them to this beautiful new chapter. They cannot wait to build a marriage centered on Christ and filled with grace, laughter, and lifelong love.
