Fell’s Point is a vibrant, historic waterfront neighborhood in Baltimore, MD, established in 1763, renowned for its 18th-century Belgian block streets, scenic harbor views, and high concentration of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The Sea Wall Trail at Fort McHenry National Monument is a scenic, 1-mile, paved loop around the historic Baltimore peninsula. It offers panoramic views of the Patapsco River and harbor. Fort McHenry is famous as the "Birthplace of the National Anthem," inspired by Francis Scott Key's poem "The Star-Spangled Banner" after witnessing the fort's successful defense against British bombardment in the War of 1812. McHenry also served as a military prison during the Civil War and a general hospital in WWI.
