We met each other while in college at Sewanee: The University of the South. I was a freshman and had only been in college for two weeks when I walked into a friend's dorm room and saw the cutest guy sitting there (aka Adrian). Later that day I ended up finding out that he was a basketball player, which meant we shared something in common and he was DEFINITELY my type. After we saw each other, Adrian decided he wanted to find a way for us to get to know each other more. His master plan was to convince me to help him with his Spanish homework, which looking back on it definitely did not make sense because Spanish was never one of my strong suits. At the time I just thought he wanted my help, but later ended up finding out that was his way of stealing my heart (I know I was very gullible. Remember I was a freshman). After a couple of nights of me helping him with his homework and texting a lot more, we started to really like each other. We shared our first kiss on a couch on the second floor of our dorm and from there the rest was history. We have spent 7 years together and have absolutely been killing this long distance relationship thing. We have acquired two children during our years together, a dog named Astro and a cat named Miso. On October 9th, Adrian surprised me with a trip back to our college campus where he ended up proposing. Now we are planning the best wedding ever where we can celebrate our love for each other with all of the people who mean the most to us!
