Abby and I are longtime friends. More than 20 years now! We met in Wednesday night religion classes. She is my best friend, travel buddy and so much more. I am her and Juan’s forever third wheel. I absolutely adore them as a couple. We have been through so many of life’s milestones together and I cannot wait for our next one, her wedding day!

The laughter that once bounced off the walls of our college house in Mankato still echoes in my memory…and Abby, well, she was the sunshine that made those years so bright. She and I have always been two peas in a pod. She the hilarious, bold brunette with a steel-trap memory and me the profane, effervescent blonde that can’t remember a damn thing, ever. We've been through enough together to fill a therapist's notebook (especially from 2009-2013), but hey, it's never boring and they are memories I will cherish and laugh about for the rest of my life. To say I can’t wait to watch my best friend marry her best friend is an understatement. They are made for JUAN another and I’m so excited to celebrate and be a part of their big day!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Abby since August of 2009. I was mistakenly assigned a dorm room with no roommate, and she was looking to upgrade her initial assignment. It was then that we were quickly introduced into one another’s life. I came to know and admire how loyal, empathetic, and strong willed she was. She never wavered in her values and beliefs, always holding true to being herself. It is also important to mention her attention to the smallest of details, her long memory and recollection of events whether accurate or not, but most cherished is her ability to make even those with no sense of humor laugh (me). With that, it is no surprise that Abby and Juan have found one another and have fully committed to being each other’s partner. Both with so much to offer the other. I feel honored to be alongside both of them as we celebrate their marriage!

I met Abby circa 2004 through my younger sister Kate; going back to their middle school days walking home from school. I have known Juan for about the same amount of time: since middle school. They first got together during Abby’s 25th birthday celebration near Stillwater. He and his friends came over to the cabin we rented after a night out on the town, and the rest was history! They are perfect for each other and I’m glad to be with them supporting them on their big day.
