Walker and I met in 2010 when we were only in the 8th grade. I remember being at my best friend, now bridesmaid, Molly's house, when she said her cousin was coming over to swim. We became friends, but it wasn't until 3 years later that we started to spend more time together. We started dating on June 14th, 2013, and we have only grown closer and closer ever since then. After we graduated high school, we both went to college at the University of Tennessee and moved back to our hometown of Memphis 4 years later. Walker proposed on March 9th, 2021 in Park City, Utah, and what a surprise it was! After dating for 8+ years, you'd think I would have been prepared for this, but he still managed to catch me off guard. While skiing on the very first day of our trip, he took me up to the highest peak of the mountain. When we got to the top, we overlooked the beautiful slopes, and he asked me to take off my skiis so we could get a picture. As soon as I looked up, there he was ring in hand. I couldn't have been more surprised and excited! Fast forward to today, we are both so excited to be preparing for our wedding day and this new phase of life! We couldn't be more grateful for all of our friends and family who have supported us on our journey. We can't wait to finally begin our lives together as newlyweds!
