This is a bold statement, but I'm gonna make it - this is the best Mexican restaurant in Santa Rosa! Okay, maybe there are some better spots out there, but this is really good, affordable food and you will leave happy and satisfied. We've eaten there many times and, yes, they are catering our rehearsal dinner.
This is one of Taylor's favorite Italian restaurants. When he was a kid he always ordered the gnocchi with the house cream sauce. It's still fantastic!
This is one of Abby's favorite breakfast/lunch spots. It can get a little busy, but turnover is pretty quick and it's worth the wait!
Yes, you're right, this is our reception venue, but don't let that stop you from popping in for a drink or meal some other time! It's a cool, kinda funky old bar, and if that's the kind of place you like, you will love hanging out here.
This is a great place to grab a coffee and go, or sit and hang out for a while. When the weather's nice, they serve ice cream in the back parlor and it's perfectly located for a quick shopping expedition in the numerous stores around Railroad Square.
This is one of Taylor's favorite hikes! He likes to take the steep, but shorter route, that starts at the Pythian Road trailhead, but you can also try the less steep, but longer route from Annadale Park. DO NOT attempt without good hiking shoes, water, and some snacks! It's a strenuous hike, but the view of the valley is worth it. (Abby's only done it once, but she totally agrees.)
In Occidental, you're either a Union Hotel person, or a Negri's person. Abby and her family are Union people and, fortunately, Taylor is too! Some of Abby's favorite dishes are the cinnamon rolls from the bakery, the Shrimp Pasta, and the Shrimp Lover's Pizza (it's got cream sauce, four types of cheese, and baby shrimp - not for the faint of heart or lactose intolerant).
Great breakfast and lunch spot. It's pretty popular on the weekends, so you will want to get there early or be prepared to wait for a bit.
